People use the terms wedding coordinator and wedding planner interchangeably. These terms are often confused with one another but they mean very different things.

A wedding planner is someone you would hire to help envision, design, plan and execute the entire wedding for your particular budget. On the most important day, your wedding day, you would have already handed off all the day’s responsibilities to your wedding coordinator. It’s now their job to ensure that your day runs smoothly and on time and that all problems are pre-emptively addressed.
